Anna Delin
works as a scientist and teacher in computational nanomagnetism
at the department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at KTH. She is
also deputy director of the Graduate School KCSE.
Her recent research activities have been financed by VR and SSF and in June
2007 she was awarded a KVA Research Fellowship, financed through a grant from the Knut and Alice
Wallenberg Foundation (KAW). Anna Delin
received her PhD in 1998 from Uppsala
University. For her thesis
work she won “Naturvetarpriset”, a
prize issued by Naturvetareförbundet, for “Best
Swedish Doctoral Thesis in Physics”. Her postdoctoral periods at ICTP, Italy and at FHI-MPG, Germany
were financed by STINT (2 years) and a EU Marie-Curie Human Potential
Fellowship (2 years). Anna Delin became Docent
(Associate Professor) at KTH in 2004. She has over 40 published scientific
papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and has given more than 30
invited talks, including several popular science presentations.
