Hultgren Laboratory climbs the ladder
Hultgren Laboratory at Material science and Engineering is now a so-called KTH Research Infrastructure. The aim is to strengthen important research environments with strong infrastructure.
The Hultgren Laboratory analyzes the properties and structure of materials and the lab plays an important role for the research and teaching at the department, but also supports other stakeholders, both within and outside KTH.
“We are very pleased, because many people at the lab have done a great job for many years to improve equipment, availability, etc. for advanced equipment for material characterization. Hopefully this can also lead to increased funding for our experimental research so that we can employ yet another person and keep the equipment competitive”, Peter Hedström, Head of Laboratory, says.
